CLEAR ALIGNERS WERE DAMAGED OR LOST_

Don’t panic! Be sure to contact your dentist. We will prepare for you a duplicate of a lost or damaged aligner. Alternatively, your doctor will decide if you can skip this step of the treatment and move on to the next set of aligners.

HYPERSENSITIVITY AND ALLERGIC REACTION_

In rare cases patients are hypersensitive or allergic to the material, from which the aligners are made. If this unlikely reaction occurs, stop using clear aligners immediately and seek medical attention. Also inform our service about the event.

LISP_

It’s not uncommon to experience a slight lisping during the initial phase of the treatment with clear aligners. After a few days you will become accustomed to these overlays and the lisping should stop.

PAIN_

If you experience severe pain while wearing aligners or often feel unwell, stop the treatment immediately and contact your dentist.

TEETH SENSITIVITY_

It is perfectly normal for your teeth to feel unnatural during the treatment – after all, the teeth are undergoing the aligning process and changing their position! After removing clear aligners you may feel that your teeth are slightly loose. You may also feel some pressure while wearing the aligners.

BLEEDING GUMS_

If your gums bleed a lot during the treatment, make sure the aligners fit perfectly and do not dig into your gums. If this is the case, we can adjust your aligners at your doctor’s clinic. If you struggle with bleeding gums, put special attention to your oral hygiene.
